Bayern München star Serge Gnabry has admitted he is disappointed with his 2020/21 season, which has seen him score 10 goals and make six assists in 37 games.

After racking up 23 goals and 14 assists in 46 games last season, Gnabry concedes he has allowed his standards to drop this term.

"I'm not satisfied with myself. I wanted to lift my goal and assist stats," remarked Gnabry self-critically in an interview with Goal and Spox ahead of Bayern's final game of the season against Augsburg on Saturday.

"Unfortunately, there were too many games in which I missed very good chances. I have to work on that.

"I usually analyze my performance shortly after a game on the way home: What was good, what was bad, and what could I have done better? Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't. You have to accept that. The important thing is never to give up."
