Bundesliga Team of the Season

Following the conclusion of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season, here is a look at the players that impressed us the most.
While Bayern München went on to clinch their ninth successive Bundesliga title in convincing fashion, several players from other clubs starred this season.

One of them was Stefan Ortega, who played a key role in keeping Arminia Bielefeld in the league. In his first Bundesliga season, the 28-year-old kept 11 clean sheets, and his 69.9% save ratio was the third-highest in the league.

Wolfsburg arguably made two of the best signings of the season in the shape of Ridle Baku and Maxence Lacroix, who form the defence together with Mats Hummels and Filip Kostic.

The midfield is dominated by Bayern München, with German internationals Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Thomas Müller all making the team.

Robert Lewandowski, André Silva and Erling Haaland form a three-man attack after scoring a total of 96 goals together.
