Hertha to keep Arne Friedrich as sporting director
Arne Friedrich will stay on as Hertha sporting director, the Bundesliga outfit have confirmed.

Hertha BSC have announced that Arne Friedrich as sporting director for the upcoming season.
Fredi #Bobic: I'm happy to announce that Arne Friedrich has extended his contract," confirmed new Hertha head of sport Fredi Bobic on Tuesday.
"Arne is not only a club legend, but also an ambitious and empathetic person. I'm happy that we were able to convince him to shape the future of Hertha BSC with us!"
Friedrich is looking forward to continuing his work at the German capital club.
"After incredibly intense months in which I was able to take on various tasks to which I dedicated myself 100 percent with great pleasure, I've now had some peace to reflect," said the former German international.
"In short: On the one hand, I have really enjoyed the work and what we have achieved together as a team, and on the other hand, I would very much like to continue all the things we have initiated during this time in the coming season. I'm really looking forward to that!"
