With the price tag for SGE offensive linchpin Daichi Kamada understood to be some €30 million, Eintracht Frankfurt are thought to be lining up a potential replacement in the form of 23-year-old Croatian international Lovro Majer. German and Croat news sources speak of a potential deal in the €15 million range.

Rumors of Frankfurt's interest in the Dinamo Zagreb ten-lot specialist initially cropped up several weeks ago. VfL Wolfsburg, VfB Stuttgart, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen have also been linked with Majer, who just eluded space on the Vatrenti's Euro 2020 roster on final cutdown day.

New Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche has a history of securing deals with the Majer's club team, having plucked Dani Olmo and Josko Gvadiol from "the Modri" during his tenure as sporting director of RB Leipzig.
