Wiese: 'Mourinho wanted to bring me to Real Madrid'
Former German international Tim Wiese claims José Mourinho wanted to bring him to Real Madrid years ago.

According to Wiese, he was called by José Mourinho - at the time the coach of Real Madrid - who wanted to bring him to the Spanish capital in 2012.
"I remember well that I was facing a move to Real Madrid. It wasn't just a rumor as many thought. José Mourinho called me and wanted to sign me," Wiese told Sport1.
The move never materialised, though, as Wiese chose to leave Werder Bremen for Hoffenheim instead. He stopped his career in 2014.
