By Peter Vice @ViceytheSS
Sky Pundit Lothar Matthäus cited his own sources to claim that Marcel Sabitzer will not be an option for Leipzig's squad tomorrow evening against Wolfsburg in the 2021/22 Bundesliga's round three capper.
Signs point to the finalization of a transfer to Bayern München, though Sabitzer could also be kept out to avoid a distraction while the two sides continue to haggle.
The transfer could go down to the wire.

The German footballing legend turned pundit did not divulge how he came upon this information, but did chalk the reporting up to conversations with reliable sources close to the club.
The Austrian midfielder, on an expiring contract, reportedly agreed to personal terms with the German giants well over two weeks ago. The transfer stalled after RB held out for an additional €10 million over the supposed €13-18 million initially sought.
