It's been reported for some time that Bayern Munich are close to agreeing a new long-term deal with Dayot Upamecano.
According to Sport Bild, board member for sport Max Eberl and the Frenchman have agreed terms on a new deal until 2030.
All that remains now is for the supervisory board to approve the deal.
According to the report, Upamecano's new deal will include a release clause.
There is reportedly a €120 million release clause in his current deal, which runs until 2026.
The 26-year-old centre-back, who joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2021, is seen as one of the cornerstones of the club's future.
