Real Madrid centre-back Antonio Rüdiger's spot in Germany's squad for Euro 2024 has been officially confirmed.
‘Hisar’ - a döner restaurant in Berlin where Rüdiger used to eat regularly when he was a child - made the announcement on Wednesday.
"Hi Antonio, my brother. I wanted to let you know that you've been called up for the European Championship," said owner Arif Keles in a video posted by the German Football Association.
"Because you were a guest of mine as a school pupil, the first 50 pupils will get a free döner on the house today," explained Keles.
Julian Nagelsmann's full squad will be announced on Thursday, but a number of the included players have already been announced in different ways.
