Report: Seoane given "three-game ultimatum" by Gladbach

Gerardo Seoane has been given three games to prove he deserves to keep his job, according to Bild.

Gerardo Seoane is fighting to keep his job as Borussia Mönchengladbach coach after Friday's 2-1 defeat to Augsburg.

That's according to Bild, who claims the 45-year-old has been given a "three-game ultimatum" by the club.

Over the next three games against Heidenheim, Mainz and Werder, Seoane will have to prove he deserves the job if he is to remain in charge, the German tabloid claims.

Friday's defeat left Gladbach in 14th place with six points after the opening six games of the season.

The club's managing director for sport, Roland Virkus, didn't hold back his criticism after the defeat, saying:

“I am really extremely disappointed with this performance. This was by far our worst game and I can't really explain it.”
