Heidenheim attacker Kevin Sessa is close to joining Hertha BSC, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that the parties have agreed on a contract until 2027, with only the medical missing for the transfer to go through.

Sessa will reportedly earn an annual salary of just under one million euros at the 2. Bundesliga club.

The 23-year-old attacker has grown in importance for Heidenheim as the season has progressed, making 32 appearances in all competitions and scoring three times.

Hertha finished ninth in the 2. Bundesliga this season.
