Things didn't exactly go to plan for Bryan Zaragoza following his move to Bayern Munich from Granada in January.

In the second half of last season, the Spanish winger played just 171 minutes in all competitions under now-former Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel.

Having watched Zaragoza flourish on loan at Osasuna this season, his agent Manu Sanchez has taken a swipe at Tuchel.

According to Sanchez, Tuchel limited Zaragoza's playing time in a bid to get back at the club after being told his contract would be terminated at the end of the 2023/24 season.

"As soon as Bryan arrived in Munich, the club told Tuchel that he would not be continuing. That was crucial. Bryan was a gamble for the club, and I think the coach didn't use him to spite [the club]. He was angry," Sanchez told Relevo.

"It was strange, we had met with Tuchel, and he told us that he saw him playing on the wing or behind the striker".

Bayern announced on Tuesday that Zaragoza has suffered a fracture in his right foot, and he's therefore set for a long spell on the sidelines.

As it stands, Zaragoza will return to Bayern when his loan spell ends at the end of the season. However, there has been speculation about his future with the Bavarians.
