Reports: Bayern identify alternatives to Palhinha

Bayern Munich have reportedly identified Andre Onana and Manuel Ugarte as alternatives to Fulham's Joao Palhinha.

Joao Palhinha is being heavily linked with Bayern Munich, but as in the past, the Bavarians are struggling to agree a transfer fee with Fulham.

Should a move for the Portugal international fail to materialize, it appears that the Bavarians have identified other options they could turn to.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton's Amadou Onana is seen as a cheaper alternative to Palhinha.

New Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is said to be a big admirer of his Belgian compatriot, with both the player and Everton open to making the move as well.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Bayern are keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte, who is also a defensive midfielder.
