Borussia Dortmund are closing in on a deal to sell Donyell Malen to Aston Villa, with recent reports claiming that the Premier League side have made a new offer for the Dutchman that is closer to the asking price of €30 million.

If Malen were to leave, Brentford's Kevin Schade could fill the void he would leave, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet claims that the Black and Yellows have made an approach to the German winger's management, but no negotiations have taken place between the clubs.

Brentford are likely to demand around €40 million for Schade, who moved to England from SC Freiburg in a  €25 million deal in 2023.

Schade, who has been capped four times by Germany, has six goals and three assists in 24 appearances for Brentford this season.
