    Goalkeeper

    Robin Zentner, Mainz

Mainz could easily have conceded more than one goal against Bayer Leverkusen if it hadn't been for Zentner, who made a total of seven saves in the game.

    Defenders

    Joakim Mæhle, Wolfsburg

One of the standout players in Wolfsburg's 5-1 win over Gladbach, Mæhle scored a goal and provided an assist.

    Nnamdi Collins, Eintracht Frankfurt

Won eight of 10 ground duels, completed 97 percent of his passes and also got on the scoresheet.

    Jeffrey Gouweleeuw, Augsburg

A rock-solid performance from Augsburg's defensive boss, who won 75 percent of his duels for the ball and also provided an assist.

    Raphael Guerreiro, FC Bayern

Made a rare start and made the most of his opportunity, scoring a goal and putting in a solid all-round performance.

    Midfielders

    Matus Bero, VfL Bochum

Won an impressive 86 percent of his duels for the ball and also made three key passes as Bochum claimed three vital points.

    Alexander Bernhardsson, Holstein Kiel

Proved impossible to control for Dortmund, scoring a goal and assisting in Kiel's 4-2 win.

    Alexis Claude-Maurice, Augsburg

Stole the show in Augsburg's 2-0 win over Union Berlin, scoring both of his side's goals.

    Leroy Sané, FC Bayern

Scored two well-taken goals in Bayern's 5-0 thumping of Hoffenheim.

    Strikers

    Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt

Seemingly unfazed by the speculation surrounding his future, Marmoush scored a goal and provided two assists in Frankfurt's win over Freiburg.

    Marco Grüll, Werder Bremen

Bagged a brace for Werder in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Heidenheim.
