Dortmund boss brushes off Adeyemi speculation

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has played down speculation surrounding the future of Karim Adeyemi.

Earlier this week, Sky Germany reported that Karim Adeyemi could be heading for the exit door at Borussia Dortmund after changing agents.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has now responded to the report, insisting that the club have no interest in letting the winger go.

"The rumors are not true. Karim is not on the sales list, that's absolute nonsense," Kehl told reporters on Tuesday.

"We are very happy with him," the former Borussia Dortmund player insisted.

Adeyemi is expected to start when Borussia Dortmund take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday.

Dortmund paid a reported €30 million to sign the 22-year-old attacker from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2022.

Since then, he has made 65 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and laying on eight assists.

He has featured four times for the German national team, scoring a single goal.
