As reported by Sky Germany, there is still no agreement between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea regarding Carney Chukwuemeka.

Chelsea’s clear intention is a sale, not a loan; while it remains unclear whether this would be interesting or feasible for BVB.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano backs up the information, stating the Blues have closed the door on a new loan deal.

After a major spending spree this summer, the Londoners hope to recoup some revenue through sales after spending over €240million.

Dortmund recently refused to pay for the Englishman, thus allowing their €35million purchase option to expire.

Meanwhile, Chelsea can't afford to let Chukwuemeka stay given he would barely receive any playing time with their large squad.

Furthermore, a lack of match minutes would result in little chance of increasing the 21-year-old's resale value.
