Eberl hints at imminent confirmation of de Ligt and Mazraoui's moves to Man United

Bayern Munich boss Max Eberl has hinted that there will most likely soon be something to announce regarding the futures of Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt.

Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has fuelled reports that Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt are close to being sold to Manchester United.

On Saturday, it was reported that the duo are set to leave Bayern for Manchester United for €60 million plus an additional €10 million in add-ons.

And asked by Bild if there will soon be something to announce when it comes to departures, Eberl replied:

“It looks like it!”

Bayern have already had an active summer on the transfer front, having brought in Hiroki Ito, Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha.

On the possibility of signing more players - such as Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah - Eberl said:

“We'll see. We have already bought players and have a very, very strong squad.”
