Eintracht Frankfurt are among the clubs monitoring Augsburg captain Ermedin Demirovic with a view to a summer move, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that Eintracht have been monitoring the 26-year-old striker for some time.

However, the question is whether Die Adler can afford Demirovic, with Augsburg reportedly demanding up to €25 million for him.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has also reportedly attracted interest from the English Premier League.

He has enjoyed a remarkable season for Augsburg, scoring 15 goals and providing nine assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances.

FC Augsburg's chief commercial officer, Michael Ströll, told Augsburger Allgemeine earlier this month that the club are ready to listen to offers for the striker this summer.

“If a player has the opportunity to take a step forward both in terms of sport and finances, then we are prepared to sit down and discuss the situation,” he said.
