Freiburg sell Siquet
SC Freiburg have sold Hugo Siquet to Club Brugge.
Hugo Siquet has left SC Freiburg to join Club Brugge in his home country, Belgium.
The Bundesliga outfit confirmed the permanent departure of the right-back on Tuesday.
“We decided together after lengthy discussions to give Hugo the chance to join Club Brugge,” commented sporting director Klemens Hartenbach.
“We would like to thank Hugo, whose behaviour has always been exemplary, for his commitment and wish him all the best back home in Belgium.”
Siquet joined Freiburg in the summer of 2022. He has spent the last year and a half on loan at Cercle Brugge.
