Führich comments on Stuttgart future amid Bayern and Dortmund links

Chris Führich has spoken out about the possibility of staying at VfB Stuttgart amid reports linking him with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

The 2023/24 season was one to remember for VfB Stuttgart's Chris Führich, who played a key role in his side's sensational second-place finish in the Bundesliga.

He caught the eye of Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann, who handed him his national team debut in October and included him in his preliminary squad for the European Championship.

Führich has also reportedly attracted the attention of other clubs, with both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund said to be monitoring him.

At the national team camp, Führich wasn't too eager to discuss the reported interest in him.

"I don't think much about it. I am concentrating on the European Championship and always leave everything to my management. I don't want to deal with it. For me it's important that I'm on the pitch and enjoying myself," he told Sky Deutschland.

The winger made it clear, however, that he can see himself staying in Stuttgart.

“Yes! What we've achieved this year is something very special - for the club and for the fans. So yes, of course! Why shouldn't it be imaginable?”
