Chris Führich has consistently been linked with a move away from VfB Stuttgart after his impressive 2023/24 season with the Swabian club.

However, it now appears that the Germany international will not be going anywhere this summer.

That's according to Sky Germany, who report that the 26-year-old has informed Stuttgart of his desire to stay put.

According to reports, Führich's release clause of €20-25 million expired last week.

The fact that Führich is staying means that Stuttgart are no longer interested in Hoffenheim's Jacob Bruun Larsen, as the Dane was seen as a possible replacement, according to Sky.

Stuttgart have already lost three key players this summer, with Hiroki Ito (Bayern), Waldemar Anton and Serhou Guirassy (both Dortmund) all gone.
