Hoffenheim confirm two more departures

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim confirmed the departure of two more players on Wednesday morning. Robert Skov and Melayro Bogarde are also on their way out of Sinsheim.

One day after confirming that the expiring contracts of John Anthony Brooks and Karim Adams will not be renewed, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim also confirmed the departures of Danish winger Robert Skov and Melayro Bogarde. Skov remains a free agent for the time being while the 21-year-old Dutch talent has been signed by Austrian side LASK Linz.

Bogarde was once considered a promising talent by the Kraichgauer, yet never managed the crack the first team. Following two loan stints in his native Holland, the central defender leaves Sinsheim with 11 Bundesliga appearances on his CV. Skov, on the other hand, racked up 111 league appearances during his five seasons in Kraigau.

"Robert will not only be remembered at TSG for his exceptional left foot and his fantastic shooting technique, but also as a wonderful character," TSG personnel chief Alexander Rosen noted in a club statement, "Of course, we also discussed extending his contract over the course of last season. We could have imagined a further collaboration under different conditions."
