Report: Hoffenheim's move for Bella-Kotchap also falls through
After the recent collapse of Oumar Solet's transfer to Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga club's move for Armel Bella-Kotchap has reportedly also fallen through.
A few days ago, TSG Hoffenheim looked set to strengthen their backline with the signings of RB Salzburg's Oumar Solet and Southampton's Armel Bella-Kotchap.
However, Solet's transfer fell through after a failed medical, and it seems that's the case with Bella-Kotchap as well.
According to Bild, Bella-Kotchap's medical revealed a heart problem and the deal will not go through.
Sky Germany is reporting that the deal is in jeopardy as well, but claims that it's not 100% off and that the parties are looking for a solution.
If the transfer does not go through, Hoffenheim will be under serious pressure to find alternatives with the start of the season just around the corner.
