One of the star players of last season’s 2. Bundesliga, Ransford Königsdörffer is about to complete a move to France. French outlet RMC reports that Hamburg and Nice are in advanced talks to complete a summer transfer.
Hamburg are keen on the move to not lose the player for free next year. The reported transfer fee is around €6 million. HSV announced the contract extension of Merlin Polzin earlier today.
The 23-year-old has spent three seasons at Hamburg since signing from Dynamo Dresden. He had his best season last term with 14 goals to help HSV secure a long-awaited Bundesliga promotion.
