With one year left on his current contract with Bayern Munich, Joshua Kimmich's future at the club is up in the air.

Following Bayern Munich's 2-1 friendly win over Tottenham on Saturday, Kimmich was asked about the possibility of extending his contract and told AZ:

"You can always talk reasonably, all doors are open for everyone.

"In general, I feel really at home here. All my children were born here, we've built a house here.

“Of course, last season wasn't so successful, that's not what Bayern and I want. Now I'm hungry, I'm full of energy.”

The 29-year-old has played for Bayern since 2015.
