Fußball Transfers has revealed that Leipzig are considering PSV Eindhoven's Ricardo Pepi in their search for a new striker.
With Benjamin Šeško seemingly on the cusp of completing his move to Manchester United, a solution is required to replace the Slovenian.
Pepi, who signed from FC Augsburg two years ago for €11million, is under contract at the Dutch champions until 2030.
Last season, the American scored 17 goals in 29 competitive matches. PSV recently declined a €30million offer from Fulham.
Regarding other options, Leipzig has reached an agreement with Rômulo, but yet to make a breakthrough with Süper Lig club Göztepe.
Armando Broja, who is moving to Burnley FC, is no longer a solution. Finally, Stade Rennes' Arnaud Kalimuendo is another candidate.
