It's no secret that Bayern Munich are looking to extend Jamal Musiala's contract beyond 2026.

According to Sky Germany, talks are going well and Musiala is clearly leaning towards signing a new deal with the club until at least 2029.

The report claims that a salary of up to a whopping €25 million gross per year is on the table.

It remains to be seen whether Musiala will also receive a signing bonus, but a four-year deal would cost the Bavarians an estimated €120 million in total.

The 21-year-old Germany international said recently that he's trying to concentrate on football at the moment and will use the winter break to think about his future.

"It's important for me to stay fit and perform well until I have a bit of time to relax. Then I can take my time and think about everything. I think we'll know more during the winter break," Musiala told Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.

“At the moment I'm concentrating on the games with the national team and FC Bayern. I know a lot of people are looking at my situation, but I'm trying to put as little pressure on myself as possible.”
