Bakker faces spell on the sidelines

Leverkusen's Mitchel Bakker is expected to be out for four weeks after picking up an injury against Wolfsburg.
Bayer Leverkusen have suffered an injury blow with Mitchel Bakker set for a spell on the sidelines.

'Die Werkself' have announced that the 21-year-old full-back sustained a lateral collateral ligament tear to his ankle in Saturday's 0-2 Bundesliga loss to Wolfsburg.

Bakker is now expected to be out for around four weeks.

Leverkusen already have to manage without Karim Bellarabi, Julian Baumgartlinger, Charles Aranguiz, Patrik Schick and Timothy Fosu-Mensah due to injuries.
