Thomas Müller: "We had the luck that was completely missing in Salzburg"

"Today we had the luck that was completely missing in Salzburg," said Thomas Müller after Bayern's 7-1 thrashing of RB Salzburg.
Thomas Müller has shared his thoughts on Bayern München's 7-1 victory over RB Salzburg, which saw the German champions go through to the Champions League quarterfinals 8-2 on aggregate.

"There wasn't any uncertainty before the game. Tension, sure. Everyone knew about the game and its importance," said Müller, who bagged a brace tonight, in an interview with Prime Video.

"The 1-1 draw in the first leg was hardly a disaster but it wasn't a great result," he added.

"Things went well for us today. Today we had the luck that was completely missing in Salzburg. We could have gone 1-0 down after five minutes. You're always a little dependent on situations like that, but overall we were better."
