During the summer, Bild reported that Bayern München want to sign VfB Stuttgart star Benjamin Pavard for €35 million in the summer of 2019. Now, new details in regard to the potential transfer have been brought to light.

According to Süddeutsche Zeitung, Bayern München's chief legal counsel Michael Gerlinger met with Pavard in Moscow on June 26 to discuss the transfer during the past summer's World Cup.

However, back in September, Pavard denied that a transfer to München is already in place.

VfB Stuttgart sporting director Michael Reschke has said he expects the French international to leave the club in the summer of 2019 when a €35 million release clause becomes active.

A few months ago, Reschke revealed that two absolute top clubs have shown an interest in Pavard.
