The Toffees' wing-back could be a solution for Frankfurt should Brown leave next summer, although Leipzig are also in the hunt.

With left full-back Nathaniel Brown getting a lot of attention, Eintracht Frankfurt have supposedly found a potential replacement.

The website Teamtalk produced an article stating that the Hessen club is interested in Vitaliy Mykolenko from Everton.

The Ukrainian's contract with the Toffees runs until the end of the season, so Frankfurt could make a move for a free transfer in January.

However, the 26-year-old is a regular starter at Premier League club and is expected to extend his contract; talks are already underway.

Frankfurt are said to be confident of ultimately securing his signature, despite interest from fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

However, Leipzig already have two established left-backs under long-term contracts in David Raum and summer signing Max Finkgräfe.

Therefore, signing Mykolenko, who can also play as a center-back, would be quite unlikely for the Saxony outfit.
