Real Madrid loanee James Rodriguez makes it clear he would ideally like to stay at Bayern München.

But the Colombian international also hints that he's not happy with his first team action this season and says he may have to leave if he isn't playing as much as he would like to.

"The situation is different to last year. I play less. If I have to leave because I'm not playing, I'll leave. But I would like to stay because I feel the love of the fans and the Bayern family," Rodriguez said according to Goal.com.

At the moment, the offensive midfielder is sidelined with a knee injury, but he hopes to be back soon.

"I hope that I will recover completely within one to two weeks," he said.

Rodriguez is on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the season. The Bavarians hold an option to sign him permanently for €42 million, but Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said last month that the club don't feel in rush to do so.
