Tottenham manager has "no assurances" on Kane's future amid Bayern links

Tottenham manager Ante Postecoglou has delivered an update on Harry Kane amid reports linking the striker with a move to Bayern Munich.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, new Tottenham manager Ante Postecoglou addressed the uncertain future of Harry Kane, who is being pursued by Bayern Munich.

Postecoglou stressed that he will present his "vision" for the club to the striker in the hope of keeping him, but admitted that he hasn't received any assurances about the 29-year-old's future.

"Kane is one of the premier strikers in the world and I want him involved here. I just want to introduce myself to Harry, give him my vision, get an understanding from him over what his vision is and try to be successful," Postecoglou said, according to the BBC.

"My conversation with him will be about how we can make this club successful and there is no doubt that is what he wants as well.

"I haven't had any assurances and I wouldn't expect any assurances. For me, I am trying to concentrate on what I know now and Harry is part of the squad."

Kane himself is said to be keen on a move to Bayern, with the two clubs haggling over the fee.
