Fabrizio Romano: Leipzig and Galatasaray work out loan deal for Angelino
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that RB Leipzig and Galatasaray Istanbul have worked out a loan deal to send Spanish wingback Angelino to Turkey.
After attempts at an outright purchase led to a swift rejection, Galatasaray Istanbul have revived their efforts to acquire Spanish fullback/wingback Angelino on a loan deal from RB Leipzig. Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that this has met with success. The 26-year-old will head to Turkey on loan with a purchase option.
Having already agreed to personal terms with the Turkish champions, Angelino should be unveiled shortly following his medical and signature. Romano did not provide any further information with respect to the purchase clause.
The left-back maintains an estimated market worth of €15 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. RB boss Max Eberl's asking price for the Galician was reported to be around €18 million.
