Kane on his Bundesliga debut: "I was a bit nervous"

Speaking after Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over Werder Bremen, Harry Kane shared his thoughts on his Bundesliga debut.
Harry Kane has admitted he was "a bit nervous" before he stepped onto the pitch for his Bundesliga debut at the Weserstadion in Bremen tonight.

Fortunately for Kane, things went much better for him and Bayern than in last week's Supercup defeat to RB Leipzig, as they comfortably beat Werder Bremen 4-0 in a game that saw Kane provide an assist and score his first goal for his new club.

"It was a nice evening. We started well with the early goal. After that it was a difficult game. They came out well at half-time and had a couple of chances. I'm glad I was able to score the second goal. After that, the guys who came off the bench did a great job," Kane said in a post-match interview.

"Of course I was a bit nervous with the new environment and the new club. But once I was on the pitch, my instinct took over, and I'm glad we got a good result.

"It was a good game compared to Leipzig. We defended better and are very happy that we were able to keep a clean sheet."
