Official: Augsburg complete Oxford signing

Reece Oxford has joined FC Augsburg on loan from West Ham for the rest of the season.

    FC Augsburg have confirmed the arrival of Reece Oxford who has joined the club on loan from West Ham for the rest of the season.

    Oxford, 20, spent most of last season on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach. This season, he has played for West Ham's reserves.

    "The Bundesliga is a great league. I already noticed that at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Therefore, I'm pleased that I can now join FC Augsburg to play even more games in the Bundesliga," Oxford said, as quoted on the club's website.

    The centre-back will wear number 5 on his back.
