Streich after 5-0 drubbing in Stuttgart: "We didn't defend"
Christian Streich was understandably unhappy with Freiburg's defending as his side suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Stuttgart.
SC Freiburg coach Christian Streich slammed his team's defending after Saturday's 5-0 defeat at VfB Stuttgart.
"We didn't defend, neither individually nor as a group," Streich complained in a post-match interview.
"VfB were superior to us in every way today. We couldn't stand up to them."
Before yesterday's defeat, Freiburg had won their first two Bundesliga matches. Streich's team sit in seventh place ahead of the remaining games of Matchday 3.
