Sadio Mané never made the desired and expected impact at Bayern Munich and ultimately left the club last summer, just one year after joining from Liverpool.

But despite being considered a flop by many, Mané made a huge impression on 18-year-old Mathys Tel, who has told Goal.com that the 31-year-old is the best player he's ever played with.

"He's helped me a lot, last year he pushed me a lot. After training we'd go to the gym to train together. Honestly he was like a big brother to me. He helped me a lot," Mané said (via @iMiaSanMia).

In the interview, Tel was also asked to name the best player he's come up against, and his answer was Kylian Mbappe.

Mané now plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
