Kimmich to leave Bayern this summer? Five clubs reportedly in the running
Joshua Kimmich is being linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, with Sky Germany reporting that there are five clubs the 29-year-old would consider joining.
Joshua Kimmich is a candidate to be sold in the summer, according to Sky Germany.
The report claims that both the club and the player are willing to listen to offers and that the 29-year-old could be on the move.
According to the German media outlet, Kimmich would only be interested in joining Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal or Manchester City. Some of these clubs have already contacted him, it's claimed.
With Kimmich's contract set to expire in 2025, the player and club have yet to begin talks on a new deal.
The Germany international currently earns a reported €20 million a year and Bayern are reportedly unwilling to give him a pay rise.
The emergence of Aleksandar Pavlovic has recently forced Kimmich to move from his preferred midfield position to right-back.
Pavlovic is a player Bayern want to rely on going forward, and his emergence seems to make a possible departure for Kimmich more likely.
