Hannover 96‘s four-game winning streak came to an end with a goalless draw at home against relegation-threatened Dynamo Dresden. Despite their first clean sheet of 2026, Christian Titz’s side were unable to find the all-important goal.

Although all the top four teams won their respective games on matchday 23, Hannover are only four points behind league leaders Schalke. The point was enough to lift Dresden off the bottom place.

Hannover will face another newly-promoted team next weekend as they face Arminia Bielefeld without their ever-present center-back Virgil Ghita, who saw his fifth yellow card of the season in today’s game. Dresden will host second-placed Darmstadt on Friday evening.
