Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended the cooperation with Raffael, the club have announced.

The Brazilian veteran's contract was due to run out at the end of the season, but he has now put pen to paper on a new deal until 2020.

"Raffael has been our most dangerous striker in recent years. As before, he's still a player who can make the difference. We're happy to have him available again next season," Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl said, as quoted by the club.

Since joining 'Die Fohlen' in 2013, the 33-year-old has made 185 appearances for the club with 71 goals and 34 assists to his name.
