Axel Witsel has made a huge impact in Germany since joining Borussia Dortmund last summer, but the central midfielder has seen his form dip slightly lately - and that's only understandable, according to BVB Sporting director Michael Zorc.

"Axel can't come through every game with flying colors," Zorc said in an interview with Kicker and added:

"If someone plays almost every minute, there will obviously be a few minutes that aren't outstanding."

The central midfielder is ready to return to Dortmund's line-up for his side's Bundesliga game against Wolfsburg on Saturday after he missed out on the 3-2 win over Hertha BSC on March 16 due to an injury.
