Bochum's Kwarteng suffers lateral knee ligament injury
Kwarteng already missed a handful of fixtures during the 2024-25 campaign with a similar ligament injury.

VfL Bochum will be without the services of Moritz-Broni Kwarteng for an indefinite period, the club announced via a statement.
The 27-year-old injured his lateral knee ligament in a training session and will therefore not travel to the Wilder Kaiser training camp in Tyrol.
“I feel incredibly sorry for him. Momo has invested a lot in getting back on the attack for the new season,” said sporting director Dirk Dufner.
"We will provide him with the best medical support and intensive support during his rehabilitation.
“We all wish him the best of luck in his recovery so we can welcome him back into the team,” Dufner added.
