Bayern München president Uli Hoeness says he better not say what he thinks about Joachim Löw's decision to axe Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller from the national team.
Speaking in an interview with 51, Bayern's club magazine, Hoeness says he has kept quiet about the matter for the sake of himself as well as Germany coach Joachim Löw.
"If I had said what I think, the internet would have done a backwards flip and then turned forward. I wanted to spare myself that - and 'Jogi' Löw as well," Hoeness said.
At the beginning of the month, Löw traveled to Munich to inform the Bayern trio that they're not part of his plans for the future.
