Kaan Ayhan is set to leave Fortuna Düsseldorf for an unnamed Bundesliga club in the summer, Bild understands.

According to the German news outlet, the centre-back can leave for just €2.5 million because of a release clause. And, apparently, he has agreed to join an unnamed Bundesliga club higher up the table than Fortuna Düsseldorf who are currently sitting 10th.

Bild mentions Werder Bremen, VfL Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen as possible destinations for the Turkish international.

Ayhan left Schalke 04 to join Fortuna Düsseldorf in 2016. The 24-year-old has made 25 appearances this season, scoring four goals.
