Bayer Leverkusen are working on extending the contract of head coach Peter Bosz, sporting director Simon Rolfes has confirmed.

Bosz, who joined Leverkusen in December 2018, is under contract until 2020, but Leverkusen are eager to tie him down to a longer deal.

"The goal, of course, is that the coach will stay with us even longer. Both sides are very satisfied. That's a good foundation," Rolfes told Kicker.

According to Kicker, initial talks have already been held, but there is nothing concrete on the table yet.
