Report: Mario Götze came close to a move to Inter
Apparently, Inter came close to signing Mario Götze from Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old ultimately stayed at Borussia Dortmund, but the Italian Serie A side remain interested in acquiring his services, as per the report.
Götze's contract with Dortmund runs out at the end of the season, and there is speculation as to whether Inter will make another attempt to sign him in January or next summer.
The offensive midfielder has played just 23 minutes for BVB this season until now.
