Kevin Prince-Boateng wanted brother Jerome to come to Juventus

Kevin-Prince Boateng says he was hoping his half-brother Jerome would come to Juventus in the summer.
Jerome Boateng came close to a move to Juventus towards the end of the summer transfer window, but ultimately ended up staying at Bayern München.

That's a shame, according to Kevin-Prince Boateng, who says he advised his half-brother to make the move to Juventus.

"Of course I would have liked to see him there, even though he has won the most duels between us, because he has played for the bigger clubs," Kevin-Prince Boateng, who joined Fiorentina in the summer, told Sport Bild and continued:

"I told him that if he had the opportunity, he should definitely go to Juve. It would have been huge to see him there. Not least because he isn't playing much at FC Bayern at the moment. A new challenge, a new culture and a new language. That would have been perfect."

Jerome Boateng, 31, has played for Bayern since 2011.
