Benjamin Henrichs has agreed to join RB Leipzig from AS Monaco, according to Bild and Kicker.

However, the two clubs are still quite far apart in their valuation of the player.

"He has a valid contract with AS Monaco. At the moment, the club have different expectations than we do when it comes to the player," RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche told Bild.

"He can play in many positions. 'Benny' can play on both the left and right side in defence and as a number six. He would give us even more flexibility. But we haven't signed him so far, so there's no need to talk about it," he added.

According to Bild, RB Leipzig are willing to pay €20 million for the full-back, but Monaco are holding out for €25 million.

Bayern München wanted to bring in Henrichs on loan, but that's not an option for the 22-year-old, as per Bild.
