Hoffenheim's Kevin Vogt is set to complete a move to Werder Bremen, according to Kicker.

Werder are looking for defensive reinforcements after an underwhelming first half of the season.

Meanwhile, the centre-back wants to leave Hoffenheim after slipping down the pecking order this season. Last month, he chose to resign as captain.

"The relationship of trust between the head coach and me, which is necessary and important for this task, has been disturbed," Vogt told Kicker about his decision.

Vogt, 28, has made a total of 119 appearances for Hoffenheim.
